The third largest island of the Cyclades and is located 8 miles from Naxos (where the famous Naxos gruyere cheese is produced), 27 from Mykonos and 22 from Syros.
The island is famous for its well-known hard cheese,as gruyere, kefalotyri and ladotyri, but also anthotyro, touloumisio, mizithra and xynomyzithra (enjoy with the barley rusks produced in the island).
