Is another characteristic Cycladic island in the Aegean Sea. It took its name from the amorgis plant, a type of flax from which the “alikoi amorgides”, tunics of Amorgos, were made. It is located at the southeastern part of the Cyclades.
Traditional products as cheese, rusks, pasteli, meat, fish, wine and roasted raki and also a variety of aromatic herbs, flower and thyme honey are the main products of Amorgos that are worth enjoying out of the greekislandsbox.
